FIRE IN MINE
4 — TWELVE MEN‘RESCUED Ottawa, February 12. Of the 47 men trappea by the fire in the Hollinger gold mine, at North Bay, Ontario, twelve men were rescued on Saturday. Six men are known to be dead, while the fate of the remainder is still uncertain. The levels of the mine arc filled with gas. v THIRTY-NINE PEAD (Rec. February 13, 10.10 p.m.) Vancouver, February 13. Twelve mep were saved from the burning Hollinger gold mine, but 39 are dead, all the bodies having been located.
