BUSHdAN FINED FOR DRUNKENNESS. The drinks served to customers in Wellimton were severely criticised by a must annoyed bushman named Frederick Reinaid Walker, aged 43, who pleaded guily in the Magistrate's Court yesterday to his third offence of drunkenness. "I oily had four drinkfa,’’ said accused, In explaining how he came to be inebriaed," and then I took the count. (Laugher.) I wasn't getting boozey drunk or anything like that, but they simply knocked me. I was arrested on Saturday afternoon, but I wasn't bailed out mtil Sunday. It wasn't as if I couldn't have stood he drinks at any other time, but well, ] don't know, I only had four, of them, and they must have, been the sort o: drinks to take effect."
