Tahiti arrived in the stream at Wellington at 6 o’clock yesterday morning from Sau Francisco, via Papeete ana Rarotonga. Pratique was granted, and the vessel berthed at No. 1, South, Queen’s Wharf, at 8.50 a.m. to disembark some of her passengers, and to put out part cargo. The Tahiti left San Francisco on January 25, and called at Papeete and Rarotonga eu route The voyage throughout was favoured by fine weather. The vessel will sail from Wellington at 3 p.m. to-day for Sydney. CUMBERLAND TO LOAD. The Cumberland is due at Wellington this morning from Wanganui roadstead. and will berth at the Pipitea Wharf to continue loading. She is to sail from Wellington on Saturday for Port Chalmers to finish loading for Loudon. MAMAKI TOR AUSTRALIA. A cable message to the Shaw. Saviil and Albion Company reports that the Marnari left London on Saturday with general cargo to be discharged at Australian ports. The vessel will subsequently come to New Zealand to take the middle of April loading for Home. TAMAROA LEAVES COLON. Cabled news has been received by the Shaw. Saviil and Albion Company that their liner, Tamaroa, left Colon on Saturday afternoon for Southampton and London, en route from Auckland. The vessel sailed from Auckland on January 21. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. The Canadian Ohallenqer will leave Wellington to-night for Illnff Dunedin. Timaru and Lyttelton. After unloading unit cargo, the vessel will leave Dunedin tomorrow tor Timaru and Lyttelton to put out the remainder. THE INDIANOLA. The Indianvxu. is expected to sail from Auckland next Thursday for Lyttelton to complete unloading phosphates from Casablanca. Afterwards she will bunker at Westport before proceeding to Makatea Island to load phosphates for Australia. MANUKA AT BLUFF. The Union Company advise that the Manuka arrived at Bluff at 7.30 a.m. yesterday from Melbourne. The vessel was to have left again last night lor Bunedin. Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due here on Friday, and will leave again the following afternoon for. Melbourne, via Milford Sound. MARAMA FOR SYDNEY. Wireless advise received yesterday from the Marama, bound from Sydney to Wellington, states that she will arrive in the stream at 8 o’clock this morning. The vessel will berth about 9 o’clock at the King’s Wharf. The Marama is scheduled to leave again at 3 p.m. cn Friday on her return trip to Sydney. MISCELLANEOUS. The Cambridge will now leave Lyttelton this afternoon for Port Chalmers to put out the remainder of her Liverpool cargo.
