THE I.C. AND A. ACT

Sir.—True to type, your correspondent, "C. Gough, Secretary AVellington Dairy Workers' 'Union,” rushes into print in an effort to prevent tho real worker and the real employer coming together and getting things done without the interference of professional trade union secretaries. I am not concerned about that aspect of the matter so much as about the statements made by your correspondent with reference io wages paid certain factory employees eleven years ago. and the hours worked. The statements are not according to fact and I now call upon your correspondent to "verify the facts by the companies’ books?” AVhat we call for at present is: the name of the factory or factories, the name of the secretary and manager thereof and the name of tne employees concerned. The cards will then all be on the table and we shall see just how near to, or far from thq truth is Mr. C. Gough, Secretary, AVellington Dairy Workers’ Union.—l am, etc.. EAIPLOYER. February 8.
