HUTT BUS SERVICES

Sir, —I desire to correct a statement made in an article appearing in this morning’s Dominion, in which it is alleged that tho last bus service carried on by private enterprise is only a parttimn service. Cur service for a. long time has carried considerably the largest number of passengers, has always run the most number of trips nor day or week, and by far the most mileage in our eight, not six buses, ns stated. Wo were also the first to initiate the direct bnsoß from the Hutt, and the first to follow a route away from tho main road. We would also have been Hie first to reduce the fares, but have been prevented from doing so by the interested authorities. —yye are. ofc.. HUTT COMBINED. Lower Hutt, February 9.
