AUCKLAND TOURNEY. By Telegraph— press Association. Hamilton, February 6. The Auckland provincial polo tournament was opened at Matangi to-day, nine teams competing, including Hawke’s Bay and Feilding, who play the first games on Wednesday. To-day’s results were: — Junior Cup.—Matangi h, 6 goals; Matangi C, nil. Temata, 11 goals; Cambridge B, nil. In a 'jante of the first round for the Provincial Cup, Waihou A beat Cambridge A by 5 goals to 3.
