GOOD WEATHER EOK OPENING DAY.

Taihape, January 25.

Excellent weather obtained for the opening day ot the Rangitikei Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s seventeenth annual show, which is being held on the Recreation Grounds at Taihape to-day and to-morrow. The outstanding feature of the show is the large number of entries in the horse sections. Other sections are also well patronised, but are numerically fewer than last year’s. The cattle and sheep sections will be judged to-morrow. The chief attractions to-day were the ring competitions and cycle races.
