It is expected that when there comes a good fall of rain, most of the town drains wili be blocked up by the debris collected along the water tables and drains during the dry spell (says the ‘‘Grey River Argus”). The sewers are at present giving nauseating evidence of their rather stagnant condition in various places where vents exist. It would have been a relief from dust and other nuisances had there been a sufficiency of water available to enable tire borough watering cart to visit some of the streets during the drought, as also had there been means to flush some of the sewers. One lesson of the situation is that an extra main from the reservoir will be decidedly beneficial for the borough in times of drought such ga the present,
