HOLIDAY ACCIDENTS
BULLET WOUND IN LEG. Several accident cases were dealt witW yesterday by the Wellington Free Ambulance Service. - ' : A labourer named Lionel- Huff, employed by the Post and Telegraph at Pipitea Wharf, was. taken to the hospital suffering from a severely incised wound to his left thumb, which was almost taken off bv a circular saw. He resides at 33 Dlaida Vale Road, Roseneath.■ ' Through the accidental discharge of a rifle, a bullet entered tlie back of the knee of William Df. DlcKay at Pukei ua Bay yesterday. He is 17 years of age and a hardware apprentice employed bv Duthie and Co., Ltd. 'He lives at 135 Upland Road.’ The Free Ambulance received the call about 1. p.m. and . brought him . into hospital for treatment and X-ray. Soon after 7 ■ o’clock last evening a man. whose name is not known was picked up in Dlaarnma Crescent suffering from concussion and superficial abrasions on the face.
