INTER-CLUB MATCHES

The first round of the senior grads coin petition will commence on the grass courts at Miramar on Saturday, February 4, at 1.30 p.m. The conditions are:— That a. team shall consist of I men and 4 ladies; in addition to the mens and ladies’ single and doubles, mixed doubles will be played; each match to consist of 3 sets (last set onlv advantage). After courts have been allotted, club , captains will be cutirelv responsible tor . ( the conduct of the matches, the entering up of teams, and recording of results. Completed results must then be handed in to .the secretary of the association. The draw for the first round is as follows: Brougham Hill v. Newtown; Miramar Grounds v. Wellington; \ ic- { toria University v. Thorndon. THIRD GRADE. The fifth round of the Third Grads inter-club competition will commence on the Miramar courts on Saturday. January 28, at 1.30 p.m. The draw is as follows:— Brougham flill v. Trinity: Lyall Bay v. Newtown; Rongotai v. Mitehelltown; Roseneath v. Miramar; Sealouu v. bl. Peters; Hataitai v.
