A country-wide conspiracy for terrorisatioti and the securing of arms with which to wage war against the Government was disclosed at the trial of twenty Bengalis at Dumka, in the Bihar Province. It was stated that the police found at the town of Deoghar pistols, ammunition, and a code book with the names of the plotters. Subsequent searches at Allahabad, Calcutta, and Chittagong disclosed more revolvers, a formula for explosives and poison, as well as Bolshevik revolutionary literature.
