MAGISTRATE’S COURT
POLICE CASES. The Magistrate's Court was presided over yesterday by Mr. J. I\. balmon, S.M.. who dealt with the following cases :- Nineteen years of age. and separated from her husuitnd on account of her liking for drink, Irene Ban- was charged with drunkenness, and a further charge ol damaging two window panes valued at 305., the property of Kathleen Tayloi. Accused was convicted and ordered to make good the value of the. window panes, in default seven days imprisonment, and was convicted and discharged on the charge of drunkenness. Thomas James Campbell, aged 48, vias remanded to to-day on two charges ol obtaining sums totalling £8 by means of false pretences.
