Hickman, when arraigned before the Court here to-day, pleaded “not guilty .by reason of insanity” to the kidnap,ping charges. January 25 has been set as the date of the trial on the double indictment. The presiding Judge asked Hickman: “Do you realise in pleading not guilty by reason of insanity you are admitting the murder?” Hickman replied: “Yes. Your Honour?’ |
