Geneva, October 12. Regarding the Lakeside City as the proper home of everything international, the annual conference of the International Barmen’s Association was surprised to find two Americans present. The others promptly protested that it was incongrous that a drv country should send delegates, who could not in any way be r -epted as real barmen. The difficulty was overcome by permitting the Americans to remain as “official observers.
