LAWN TENNIS

AIURITAI CLUB. The ALuritai Tenuis Club’s courts at Eastbourne were opened on Saturday by the patron, the Hon. G. J. Anderson. Mrs. Curtis hit the first ball over the net. The Mayor, Air. 11. M. Jones, was present, and, on behalf of the Eastbourne borough, wished the club every success. Afternoc'i tea was provided by the ladies under the direction of Alisses Barnett and W-od. An enjoyable afternoon was spenr, and there is promise of r very successful season.
