Lme cjiartered steamer Australind left New York on Saturday afternoon with general cargo to discharge at Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel is duo at Auckland on November 10, and at Web lington a week later.

RIBERA DUE TO-DAY. T.ie New Zealand Shipping Company s chartered steamer Ribera is due.at Wellington at daybreak this morning from Mont#3al and Newport News, via Auckland. The vessel will berth at south Queen’s Wharf to nut out part cargo.'

SULPHUR FROM TEXAS. The German steamer Passat (ex Kile) is reported to have left Texas on September 27 with a full cargo of sulphur for discharge at Fremantle. Geelong, and Auckland. She will unload about tons at Auckland. She is due at Auckland in December. Due about October 31, tho steamer Sithonia also has a full cargo of sulnhur, part of wh'c.h will _be discharged at t Auckland. The remainder is for Australian ports.

CARGO PROM MONTREAL. . News by cablegram has been received bv the New Zealand Shippin- Company that the Gisla left Sydney (Cane Breton) on Sunday for Montreal, to continue loading for New Zealand ports.

RUAPEHU DUE NEXT THURSDAY. A wireless message has been received bv the New Zealand . Shipping Company from their liner Ruapehu, en route from London and Southampton, stating that the vessel will arrive at Wellington at 7 o’clock next Thursday morning. The Ruanehu will land only passengers at Wellington, and will then proceed ,o Port Chalmers. Lyttelton, and Bluff, to unload her cargo.

THE CANADLYN SCOTTISH. The Canadian Scottish sailed from Auckland at 1.30 pim. yesterday for Wellington. to continue discharge of her cargo from Montreal. The vessel is due at Wellington to-morrow evening. On the voyage to AtXikland, save for a moderate south-east gale when the vessel was passing through the Pauinotu Archipelago, the, weather was fine until the last week. Last Saturday the vessel was struck by a strong north-east gale, which lasted for four hours. This was followed by a dead calm for six hours, after which a violent south-west gale sprang up. 13118 lasted for twelve hours, after which the vessel could not make more than three knots, although her engines were kept at full speed. . . . . Captain T. Lyons is in command, and has with him the following officers:-First, Mt. J. Carlson; second, Mr. A E. Webster* third. Mr. E. A. Mollock; wireless onerator, Mr. F. Slavin; chief engineer. TURAKINA DUE SUNDAY. The Federal Coms:iny advise that the Turakina will leave Auckland early this morning for Wellington, where she is due on Sunday, to continue discharge ot her Liverpool cargo.

NIAGARA AT VANCOUVER. The Union Company report that the R.M.S. Niagara is due at Vancouver today from Auckland. Tho vessel is scheduled to leave again next. Wednesday for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland, and Sydney, and is due at Auckland on November 7.

MAHENO FOR SYDNEY. Tho Union Company’s Maheno is scheduled to leave Wellington at _ uoon today for Sydney, where she is due on Tuesday morning.
