SYDNEY WOOL SALES
GOOD SORTS VERY FIRM. (Rec. October 13. 11.55 p.m.) Sydney, October 13. At the wool sales all better descriptions of fleece wools and skirtings ruled very firm, with values at times in sellers favour, while short, faulty and unattractive fleeces wools continued to sell irregularly. The demand for comeback and flue crossbred was keener than for merinos, and these sorts showed a relatively greater advance on last year s rates. Greasy merino sold to 29d. per lb.
