In to-day’s issue the Railway Department announces that commencing on Friday next a late market night service is to *be inaugurated on the WellingtonWaterloo section. The train should be convenient for the large number of retail shop assistants employed in the city and residing in the vicinity of the new line. Mr. W. R. Kcmball, Jnr., who has for the past two months been in Palmerston North on theatrical business, returned to Wellington yesterday.
