THE CANADIAN PROSPECTOR.. The Canadian Government Agency have beeu notified by cablegram that the Canadian Prospector arrived at Panama at B a.m. on Friday from Auckland, and sailed again in the afternoon for New York, Boston, and Montreal. The vessel left Auckland on September 7.

RUAHINE LEAVES COLON. . A cable message to the New Zealand Shipping Company reports that tlieir liner Ruahiue arrived at Panama on October 7 from Auckland, and left Colon on October 8 for Southampton and London. The vessel sailed from Auckland on September 17.

ROTORUA AT AUCKLAND. The New Zealand Shipping Company B liner Rotorua, which arrived at Auckland on Sunday afternoon from London and Southampton, was delayed a day at Southampton owing to her denting one of her plates through bumping heavily against the wharf there. She left the port on September 3. and reached Colon on September 17. After passing through the canal she stayed an < xt-ra day at Balboa, where further repairs were effected to the damaged plate. The voyage was resumed on the afternoon of September 19. Exceptionally tine weather prevailed on the voyage until the vessel was about a week froiii Auckland. Boisterous weather with rough seas was then encountered. TANKER LINCOLN ELLSWORTH. The Vacuum Oil Company advises that tbc Norwegian tanker Lincoln Ellsworth left San Francisco on September 15 with bulk fuel oil for discharge at Sydney, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel is expected at Dunedin about October 20. The Lincoln Ellsworth is a new ship. She was built at Gothenburg early this year, hnd is of the cruiser stern type.

nURUNUI AT AUSTRALIA. The New Zealand Shipping Company have been advised by cablegram that the Hurunui arrived at Sydney ou Sunday, to continue discharge of her Liverpool cargo. She next will discharge at Newcastle and Brisbane.

MAHENO, FROM SYDNEY; At 6 o’clock yesterday morning the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno arrived in the stream at Wellington from Sydney direct. Pratique was granted, and the shin berthed at No. 1 north (outer tee) Queen s Wharf, at 9 a.m. The Maheno sailed from Sydney at 11 a.m. on Friday, and had a flue-weather run across tho Tasman.. The vessel is to leave Wellington on Friday ou the return trip to Sydney.

THE MIDDLESEX. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Middlesex, at present loading at Auckland, will leave that port on Saturday morning for Wellington, where she is due on Monday morning, to coniplete her cargo. It is expected that the nkjp will sail from Wellington on October 3) for London, via Panama.
