By decision of the Now Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, cyclists may not. display any advertiseinent other than trade marks on their ninchities during the progress of races held under the association's jurisdiction. It Ims been decided also that all competitors shall wear club, centre or New
Zealand representative costumas, and that competitors should not be permitted 'to exhibit advertising matter on the costumes. Instructions are to be given to referees to report any offenders to the athletic centre concerned, which is given power to deal with the case as it thinks fit. Referees are empowered to disqualify competitors who infringe the new rules, for the race in hand.
