SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMPETITION. The first round of the secondary schools lawn tenuis competition commenced in beautiful weather on Saturday last. Two grades are being played, senior and junior. In tho former Wellington Coileeo have entered three teams, St. Pair rick’s College two, and Scots College one In tho latter grade, two loams have been entered from Wellington College, Technical College. St. Patrick’s College, and Scots College. Tho games were ulaved on the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association’s grounds at Miramar, fourteen courts being used. Results are as Senior Grade.—St. Patrick’s A defeated Wellington A. 12 sets to 2; St. Patrick s B defeated Wellington C. 11 sets to Scots College defeated Wellington B, 13 Sl?
