A warrant lias been issued, for ..the arrest of L. Comerford, who has been missing from bis position as accountant for Ward’s Brewery, Kilmore Street, since last Friday-, and whose coat was found or. the bank of the Waiiitakariri River on Sunday.
It is said that an amount of close or £3OO cannot be accounted for in connection with the firm's finances.
