WRESTLING

At the Town Hall to-night the New Zealand Wrestling Association will stage their second carnival, when a good programme will be presented. The contest for the heavy-weight title between B. Hayden (challenger) and E. Anderson (holder) promises to be a hard and grim struggle, as the challenger is 3-stone heavier than the champion. Ike Robin, the giant Maori, will be introduced, and during the big match will be in Hayden’s corner as adviser.

The Naughton-De Cleene bout is also sure to be keen, while the amateurs, Boyd, Daly, Burton, and Blaxall will supply preliminaries to these two professional contests.
