Crops of autumn-sown wheat are looking wonderfully well in tho Timaru district, and, given fair conditions, the yield should be abundant (reports an exchange). There is plenty «f optimism in the district, with the prospect of a good fattening season, and an abundant yield of grain. The idea that lamb and wool prices will be firm is held strongly.
