FARMERS CONCERNED While disagreeing with Mr. T. K. Sidey's Summer Time Bill, the Miuister of Agriculture (Hon. O. Hawken), speaking at the. Farmers’ Union conference yesterday, said he was afraid the measure would become law this session A delegate: Can the Minister make anv suggestion as to'how the farmers can block the Bill? (Laughter.) Mr. Hawken: It is a matter for the Legislative Council, but the farmer should certainly have some fay in the matter. . A voice: We will turn them out next election. (Loud laughter.)
