Meteorological Office,'Wellington, July 26, 4 p.m. Present indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale, backing to westerlies northward of Kawhia and East Cape, and northeasterlies to south-easterlies elsewhere. Weather stormy, with further rain generally, heavy rain and rivers flooded in the northern and east coast districts, and snow on the higher levels. The barometer has a further falling tendency. D. C.
