ELECTRIC POWER
WORKS IN MANAWATU Palmerston North, July 11. Extension of the service given by the Manawatu-Oroua Power Board was mentioned by the engineer (Mr. W. A Waters) at the meeting of the board to-day. Mr. Waters stated that a supply of power had been given to residents north of Raugiwahia, thus completing the lilies under construction in that area. The board’s workmen were engaged in building lines in the Valley Road, while they would shortly be engaged upon the one and a half miles extension north of Apiti.
