LORD CHIEF JUSTICE ON DIVORCE LAW (Rec. June 19, 5.5 p.m.) London, June 18. A reference to secret divorce was made by the Lord Chief Justice (Lord Hewat) at the Mansion House banquet. “The Courts used to hear divorce suits bv the score,” he said. “Now they hear them by thousands.
