The New South Wales Executive Council has prorogued Parliament till [tine 7. That the name of Frankton Junction is confusing and misleading as to its situatio relative to Hamilto was expressed at a meeting of the Frankton Ratepayers’ and Citizens’ Association (states the New Zealand “Herald ’). Notice of motion was given that the Railways Department be asked to change the name of Frankton Junction to Hamilton Junction. The motion will be discussed af the annual meeting to l>o held shortly, and is expected to receive general support.
