ENGINEERS’ STRIKE
CLYDE WORKS IDLE AGAIN (Rec. April 4, 10.55 p.m.) Sydney, April 4. The Clvde Engineering works have been rendered idle again, 1200 employees striking as a protest against alleged victimisation of a union delegate by the management of the works, lhe strike is the result of action by the shop committee, and was not ordered by the union. The management state that the strike is,an attempt at job control.
