ALLEGED GAMING HOUSE RAIDED

DOMINION SPECIAL. Dominion Special.Christchurch, January 22. To-day several city detectives raided premises at 171 Madras street armed with warrants to search tor -vidence- of the place being a common gaming house. Ina following were subsequently brought before Mr. J. H. Seager. J.P.. on the charges stated —Alexander Duncau, charged with being the occupier ol -premises used as a common gaming house; Lewis Horton. Arthur William Rosmund. Edward Bert Smith and Walter Hulston, charged with being found in a common gaming house. All were demanded until January 28, hail being allowed.
