Airs. Hugh Vickcrman, who was the guest of Airs. B. Whitcombe, in Christchurch, has returned to Wellington.

A theatrical wedding which caused much interest in Wellington, took place yesterday afternoon, when Aliss Dorothy White and Alt. Gregory Ivanoff, of the “Midnight Frolics,” were married. The wedding was quite a family affair, and all those who were present at the reception afterwards, held at the Berkeley Hotel, were members of the company, and others intimately connected with the White family. Mrs. Edgerley, mother of the bride, received the guests, and the bride was given away by her brother, Air Eric Edgeley. Air. Clem Dawe was best man, and the Alisscs Phvllis Amery and W. Knight (members of the company) were bridesamids. The bride wore a frock of white georgette over silver tissue, the skirt composed of narrow scalloped frills thickly beaded in crystal. A long train of silver brocade fell from, her shoulders, and the embroidered veil was worn cap fashion with a Russian coronet of orange blossoms, which also appeared on the train and frock. Her bouquet was an uncommon one. of cream and crimson roses tied with silver ribbon. Aliss Amery wore white georgette with frills of powder blue, and a white hat with small blue flowers, and carried a bouquet to tone. Aliss Knight was in henna-coloured georgette with grey hat, and grey shoes and stockings, her bouquet! toning with her frock. Airs. Edgeley wore black marocain relieved with white and black hat with ospreys, and carried a bouquet of red roses; Airs. White, junior, wore black and white georgette, and smart hat with brilliante buckle. The rooms at Berkeley House were decorated with flowers for the occasion, and a wedding breakfast was served which included several Russian dishes, which had been sent from Sydney for the occasion. Air. Jack Prentice, who came from Auckland for the wedding, proposed the health of the newly-married couple. Other guests included AL Cunningham, of the “Unfair Sex” Companv, who came up from Timaru. Absent friends was proposed bv Air. Regan and Air. Les White, who was ALC., thanked Air. and Airs. Richards, of Berkelev House, for their kindness in making'all the arrangements. Last night, after the performance of the Frolics at His Majesty’s, a dance and supper party were given on the stage of the theatre, when all the company and many friends were present.

The newest variations of the felt, and velvet chapeaux has arrived—the Vagabond and Reboux. They arc both delightful modes and universally becoming. Aliss Samson (Customhouse Quay) has a collection of these, hats in various shades of brown, tan, biege, chartreuse banded 'with black ribbon, a velvet model in wine shades, and other in patou. red, black, bois de rose, and daffodil.—Advt.

The wedding was solemnised recently at St. Cuthbert’s Church, Ekctahuna, of Winifred, eldest daughter of Airs. E. E. Goodhue, Eketahuna, and the late W. F. Goodhue, formerly of Kawa Kawa, to Claud, youngest son of Airs. S. Alackay and the late Samuel Alackay, Alolesworth Street, Wellington. The Rev. G. Watson officiated and appropriate music was plavcd by Airs. Bath. The bride’s frock was of white georgette. She wore a veil with orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of carnations and maidenhair fern. Aliss Florence Goodhue, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, and was diessed in a frock of blue marocain, with an overdress of cream iace and hat to match. Air. Frank Bowering (Ekctahuna) was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at Taylor’s rooms.

Wesley Church, Taranaki Street, was recently the scene of a pretty wedding when Daisy Edith, only daughter °of Air. F. 11. and the late Airs. Capon, Island Bav, was married to Arthur 11. de C., youngest son of Mt. and Airs. A. 11. Brooks, also of Island Bav. ■ Rev. A. N. Scotter, 8.A., assisted bv Rev. L. A. Brooks, officiated, and Air' Arthur Crisp presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away, by her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe de chine and silver lace. Her embroidered veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a shower bouquet of tuber roses, cyclamen, and sweet-peas. The bridesmaids, Alisses Dorothy Tighe and Dorothy Weitzel, wore frocks'of pale cyclamen and eau-de-nil, trimmed with guipure lace. Their hats of pale beige silk crinoline were trimmed with self-toning shades, and they carried shower bouquets of roses and sweet-peas. The little flow-er-girls, Nancy Wilson and Joan Brough who were dressed alike in shell pink crepe de chine and tulle Dutch caps to match, carried Victorian posies. Alessrs. E. W. Brooks and S. J. Varcoe attended the bridegroom. A reception was afterwards held, when a large number of guests were received bv the bridegroom’s mother, who wore'a frock of navy marocain, with bat to match, and carried a bouquet of crimson roses. Air. and Airs. A. 11. de C. Jlrooks later left for the south, the bride travelling in a bois de rose repp frock, with hat to match, and a handsome fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom. /

A picturesque wedding took place at St. Luke’s Church, Remuera, last night (telegraphs our Auckland correspondent) , when Runa Rose Larner, younger daughter oi Air. and Mrs. A . J. Lionel, of Remuera, was married to Air. Robert Graham Buckleton, cider sou of Air. and Airs. H. Buckleton, of Wellington. The father of tiie bridegroom is general manager of the Bank of New Zealand.

Albert Russell, in Kclburn Parade, last uight, to bid them bood-bye before they leave for America, England, and the Continent bv the Alauuganui on February 1, During a very bright and joyful evening Air. Render presented Airs. Russell, on behalf of the members of “The Fire Prince,” with a bouquet and a New Zealand rug, as a parting gift of appreciation and affection of those who had worked with her.

The house flag of Alessrs. Ross and Glendining was flown at half-mast yesterday out of respect to Aliss Carruthers* one of the local staff, who succumbed to an attack of . spinal meningitis. She had been connected with the "staff for the last two and a half years.
