NEW ZEALANDERS IN ENGLAND
The “British Australian and New Zealander” of December 'J contains the following references to ■ New Zealand iu England :— Sir James Alills will spend the winter in Egypt. Aliss C. Low, of Dunedin, will be leaving for a tour ou the Continent shortly. Airs. T. R. Brooks has now recovered, and is staying with friends near Sheffield. Archbishop Julius has been fulfilling preaching engagements in various parts of London. The Rev. John Walker and Airs. Walker, late of Mastcrtoii, are living in Taunton, Devon. Airs. Carrick Robertson, accompanied by her daughter, is staying with her father, Air. Maxwell-Hibbard, in Jersey. Surgeon-Commander A. 11. Joy, R.N., has been lent to the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy for three years. Aliss Ethel Alacniven, of Hawke’s Bay; has been touring England and Scotland by car. She leaves for the Continent iu December. Air. and Airs. F. J. White, of Wbangarei, intend to spend part of the winter in Egypt and Palestine, returning to England in the spring. Air. and Airs. D. Ensor, of Christchurch, will be spending several mouths in various parts of Great Britain, after which they will visit the Continent. Air. F. N. Ambler, of Auckland, visited a number of the principal Canadian towns on his way here. He will leave for Paris in about two months’ time. I'light-Lieutcnajit AlcGovcrn, formerly of Christchurch, New Zealand, who met with a living accident in Egypt last spring, is now in Uxbridge hospital, and expects to be well again soon. Air. and Airs G. Winder, of Wellington, will visit the Continent in the New Year, and join the Ormonde for New Zealand, via Naples, on January 30. 'J'liev have spent most of their stay iu Ireland. Air. F. Alexander, late of Alilton, has arrived in London from Singapore, where he has been stationed since 1921. His mission is on behalf of a Colonial Government, and concerns airways. Captain AL N. Wallace, of Palmerston North, and Airs. Wallace, will be spending their Christmas in London, after which thev will visit Scotland. Captain Wallace has just made a tour of the from Pacific Coast ports for New Zealand, battlefields.
