RAILWAY WORKSHOPS TRAINING
♦ It was reported in the cablegrams vesterdav that the Prime Minister, the Right lion. J. G. Coates, might probably adopt in the New Zealand railway workshops the system followed on the Canadian National Railways of instructing the apprentices. Yesterday a representative of the local Railway Department stated that a very efficient system, on the lines indicated, was already in force here, and yielding excellent results.'
