EASTBOURNE FERRY AND MOTOR SERVICE
Special attention is drawn to the time-table which has been arranged for Anniversary Day (Saturday, January 22), also for Sunday and Monday. The timetable appears in the amusements columns of tliis issue, and includes both the ferry and (he bus service. Patrons are specially requested to note that all bus tickets are available for return by any boat. The advantages of the round trip are emphasised—the outward journey on the bus, anti the homeward journey on the boat. The T.S.S. Muritai is in the running. The beach and the hush at Day's Bay and Muritai are in tlie very best condition at this time of the year, and there are ample grounds available for all kinds of sport. The tennis enthusiasts have asphalt and grass courts at Bona Bay and Day’s Bay. On Anniversary Day the Caledonian Pipe Band will be on board the ferry sieanler, on route for an outing at the bays, and passengers will be treated to some excellent music. Intending picnickers requiring further information are requested to ring the ferry oflice (telephone 45—587). Concessions will be granted parties.
