There is surely no happier resident of London at the moment than Mrs. Gordon Coates, savs an English exchange. She is the wife of the Prime Minister of New Zealand, and her visit is part of her romance. Sixteen years ago, as a London schoolgirl, she went out to New Zealand in order to spend a lengthy holiday with some relatives. How long that holiday has been mav be judged from the fact that not until her present visit did she get back to her native city. In the meantime she met and married Mr. Coates, who has come over for the Imperial Conference. Mrs. Coates did not lose any time in going to her parents’ home, and has been busily engaged in renewing family ties.
