On November 21, Arthur Howard Murrav was driving a motor-car. amug Victoria Street, when in swerving to avoid another car he ran oh to the footpath and knocked down Charles Nelson, who subsequently died as the result of his injuries. To-day Murray was charged in the Magistrate’s Court with causing Nelson’s death through negligent driving. He pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail being allowed self in £lOO.
