CAR OUT OF CONTROL
TWO MEN INJURED. Dominion Special. Auckland, December 17. A collision between a five-seater motor-car driven by Henry Evans (aged 24), of Grey Lynn, and a City Council bus occurred on Panmure Road late this afternoon. The car was travelling in the direction of Ellerslie when it struck the rear of the bus. Swerving to the left side of the road, it ran over William Smith (aged 44), of Eden Terrace. Evans was unable to keep control of the vehicle, which careered across the right side of the road into a stone wall. The car was badly damaged in all parts. Evans was admitted to the hospital suffering from injuries to his head and is in a farly satisfactory condition. Smith received injuries to a leg.
