NUMBER OF FATALITIES ; .. - " 1 NOT GREATER THAN IN / FRENCH FORCE London, December 15. In the House of Commons, Sir Samuel Hoare (Minister of Air), replying to a question, said that the total: num- ' ber of persons killed in the Royal Air Force nt 1924 were 48 officers, one cadet, and 23 airmen; in 1925, 40 officers and 11 airmen; in 1926, 46 officers, 2 cadets, and 28 airmen. , Though the statistics of the brench Air -Force were not published it was stated in a debate in the Chamber of Deputies that there had been 13 fatal accidents on a single type of machine within two months.
