• £5O FINE FOR DRUNKEN MOTORIST Br TELEGEAPH.—PBESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, December 16. “I can see that the fines will have to be jumped up again,” said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, in imposing a fine of £5O on Edmund Bowler .Watson for being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor-vehicle. The Magistrate also cancelled accused’s license, and ordered that a new one should be issued to .him for twelve mouths from next March.
