FISH SHOPS

Councillor W. J. Thompson directed the attention of the Health Committee at last evening’s meeting of the City Council to the fact that the city fish shops were not asked to cover in their windows as were the butchers shops. There were a good many blowflies about at this time of the year, and he thought there should be some measure of protection against them. Councillor H. D. Bennett said it was piovided for under the Public Health Act.
