ABLE TO CARRY ON

NEW SOUTH WALES GOVERNMENT TERMS OF SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTE By Telegbath.—Peess association. Copyright. Sydney, December 11. The terms of settlement of the dispute between the Government and Messrs. Goodin aiid Gillies are:—The complete repudiation of dictatorship, the rejection of Red rules, the reorganisation of the Labour Party, and the dropping from it of Messrs. Willis, Voight, and Garden, the country to’be given priority in any legislation to be passed, and the country to be given extra representation under the new redistribution of seats scheme. The outcome of the agreement is that the Government will be able to continue in office, and probably tlie present Parliament will now run its full term. Parliament is most likely to be called together as soon as possible, probably early in January. Mr. Loughlin, interviewed, said that his attitude had not changed since the commencement of the trouble. The official report of the Labour caucus meeting states that Mr. Goodin is now back in the party, and that Mr. Gillies has also accepted the agreement, but his return to the party has been postponed until the terms of the agreement are honoured. Mr. Gillies will support the Government in the meantime, and will not vote against the Government. •
