RONGOTEA NOTES
A garden party in aid of the I’lunket nurse funds was to have been held in Mr. Davison’s grounds on Wednesday, but owing'to the extremely unfavourable change in the weather, was transferred to the Coronation Hall. The stall-holders spared no pains in getting up their stalls in the usual attractive manner, but as the attendance was small the takings were not great. The stalls were conducted bv Mesdaines Wright, Liggins, Tremaine. Matheson, Maden, Amies, Croucher, McGee, Caverhill, Will, Hunt and Miss' S. Matheson. Winners of the various competitions were Mesdamcs Matheson, Hunt, Claasen, Hurst, Miss V. McCall and Mr. IT. Blaxland.
