NEW ZEALANDERS IN BIG HANDICAP Dominion Special. Christchurch, October 27. According to private cable advice re* ceived in Christchurch this morning, four New Zealanders still remained in the £5OOO handicap live pigeon shoot organised by the Melbourne Gun Club, which was commenced on Monday morning, and will be concluded to-day. They are V. Truscott (Christchurch), A. Dobson (Auckland), I’. Hughes (Auckland), and R. S. Taylor (Christchurch) . The prize money is the largest' in the history of trap shooting, and competitors from all over, the world are taking part. A world’s live pigeon championship, the first of the kind to be organised, will, be decided subsequently.
