QUARTERS FOR NEW CITY OFFICERS
The City Council has decided that there shall be no preferential treatment as between the accommodation provided for th© new Town Clark (who, by Hie way, arrived yesterday) and the new city engineer, duo in three weeks’ time. Since Mr. E. P. Norman was here a month ago. a now room (or what served ns two) has been prepared for him at (he northern end of the main corridor of the Town Hull and for his reception it has. literally, been made as fresh as paint. Now the painters are at work finishing up the quarters of the new city engineer (Mr. G. A. Hart), who will occupy the same room as Mr. A. .1. Paterson in the building opposite the Town Eall in Mercer. Street
