STILL CLOSED TO TRAFFIC Dominion Special. Palmerston North, October 16. A gang of men continued operations to-day on the large landslide in the Manawatu Gorge, and succeeded ' in clearing a further portion with the aid of a power excavator. However, another small slip has increased the pile of debris, but the men, who will r'esume work to-morrow, hope to have the road open to motor traffic early next week.
