NEW ZEALAND LAMB
The Meat Producers’ Board’s scheme of sending single carcasses of New Zealand lamb to private persons at Home is continuing to find favour in the eyes of relatives in this country, and indications so far point to a larger consignment than ever this year. One Wellington resident who has already arranged to have a carcass sent was voluble in his praise of the board’s activity. “I sent one last year,” he said, “and thev were delighted with it. They - had no idea frozen lamb could be so lovely and sweet, corning from such a long distance, and they and their friends had a right royal Christmas dinner They said it surpassed in flavour any turkey, goose, or chicken.”
