FINGERS AMPUTATED IN MACHINE

William Hall (aged 17 years) was engaged cutting paper with a power-driven guillotine at the office of the “Evening Star’’ newspaper this afternoon. Failing to remove his right hand in time from beneath the knife, it descended upon his fingers, amputating the four near the knckles.
