STAGING COLLAPSES
MAN DIES OF INJURIES BV TELEGR-Vl’n.— I’BESS ASSOCIATION. Timaru, October 9. Owing to the collapse of a staging at the Imperial Oil Company’s tanks on the waterfront this morning, three men were precipitated twenty feet to the ground. One, Michael Conway, about thirty rears of age, sustained serious injuries, including a broken pelvis, from which he died at 2 p.m. The others escaped with slight injuries.
