TRAIN WRECK VICTIMS ROBBED
* STRIPPED OF VALUABLES. Sydney, October 1. In reference to the traffic inspector’s denial that the injured in the Murulla railway accident were interfered with, a. statement has been published by the local police, who are _ inquiring into the allegations, that while the injured were lying pinned and helpless in the wreckage three men stripped them of theip jewellery and other valuables. It is also said that one woman’s rings were torn from her fingers, and that from the pockets of two men sums of £4O and £3 respectively were taken. It is alleged that the 'robbers escaped during the consternation following the disaster.
